Danco are New Zealand’s leading specialist adhesive tape supplier.
In 1962 West Aucklanders Colin Crump and Dan Kenny started a tape manufacturing company called Danco N.Z. Ltd. Over the years Danco was bought by Trigon Packaging which in turn was sold to Sealed Air (New Zealand) Ltd in 1995. In March 2021 Sealed Air (New Zealand) Ltd sold the Danco tape division to PGL.
Danco is a solutions focused tapes business and has a strong focus on supporting key industries where its technical know-how is valued by the commercial, manufacturing, engineering and construction sectors in NZ.
Our in-house expertise, combined with the technical knowledge of our global portfolio of agency partners, means that we can provide valuable technical solutions-orientated input for our distributor network and their end customers.
Our range includes industrial tapes, construction tapes, single and double-sided tapes, foam tapes , surface protection tapes and specialty tapes and we provide a full range of customised tape provisioning solutions including slitting and rewinding.
Danco products are available in New Zealand through our distributor customer base.
The point of difference that we offer in the market, due to the specialist and technical nature of much of our Danco and agency product range, is that we are very active with the end-customer. This often means that we can deliver sales opportunities to our distributor partners through the product solutions work we have been involved with.
